Meet Janel

My aim is to ensure that healthy, sustainable food is within everyone's reach.

Farming feels like it's in my blood. Leading AgriPlate through its startup feels like the natural path for me. My father farmed peanuts, cotton, and vegetables in Fort Valley, GA. Growing up, I had my own urban farm and spent much of my childhood in 4H, raising chickens and caring for numerous household pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and various reptiles.

With over 20 years of business leadership experience, I've held roles in marketing, sales, regulatory compliance, and training for several Fortune 500 companies. I've also been a serial entrepreneur, founding Nava Pets Inc., an all-natural, organic pet care product company. I grew Nava Pets to over seven figures in sales before selling the business in 2019.

My goal with AgriPlate is to make healthy food easy and accessible for everyone. Whether you're looking to start eating healthier or you're already on that path and want the convenience of farm-to-table boxes or meals delivered to you. AgriPlate has something for you. From fresh produce deliveries to farm-to-table meal kits, I want to bring healthy eating to your doorstep.

Meet Ida

Ida is passionate about organic and regenerative agriculture, with 5 years of hands-on experience managing a 12-acre certified organic vegetable farm. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Plant Science from the University of Florida, providing her with a solid foundation in sustainable farming practices. Her expertise includes crop planning, organic vegetable production, fertility management, and irrigation, along with proficiency in tractor and equipment operation.

In addition to her practical skills, Ida has successfully overseen labor management, record keeping, and marketing initiatives, including social media and email campaigns. She’s also engaged with local communities through farmers markets and volunteer work, continually advocating for organic agriculture and sustainability.
